Content Management System (CMS) is an easy to use web page creator tool which allows unskilled HTML users to create their own web pages. Content Management System main functions are creation, modification and deletion of web pages. Many website design firms are using Content Management System for their goal oriented websites. There are different types of Content Management System available in the web market.

Types of Content Management System are:

• Proprietary Content Management System: It is usually very costly to buy and up Vignette system. It has lots of features and having many technical supports.

• Open Source Content Management System: This system is typically free and easy to install. Due to its open source nature though, users will find a lack of consumer and technical supports.

• Custom Content Management System: This type of systems is usually favored as they allow users to develop and design from scratch. Debugging percentage is less and problem can be fixed easily.
